Five months old!

Maya turned five months yesterday.
Currently she is almost 14 pounds and still managing to fit into most of her three month clothes. She still wakes me up several times a night to eat. She still loves being held and can't take naps without sleeping in my arms. She sleeps with me at night which I wasn't really planning on but I actually love sleeping by her. My plan is once her dad moves out of the nursery she will start sleeping in her crib.

Currently she is:
Loving real food, applesauce, bananas, strawberries, squash, sweet potatoes, avocado and blue berries. She can't seem to get enough of them and either grunts or cries if I'm not feeding her fast enough. I've been making all her baby food which is lots of fun, for some reason it seems healthier to me.
She has found her toes and loves to grab on to them. She also likes to roll side to side and has rolled over once. She's always trying to sit up or lift her head up so I got her a bumbo.

Her new noises are lots of grunting, bubble blowing, baby talk and "yelling" at me in the morning if I get out of bed and try to get ready for work. This girl just loves her attention and hates to be by herself.

She loves all of her books which we read daily. She also loves her toys specially her hippo, owl chair, play mat and anything that will fit into her mouth. When it's nice outside she likes going for walks and looking at everything. She loves her bath time and kicks like crazy.

Dislikes are: being left alone in a room. Strangers and still tummy time.

Adventures: we went to St. George with my mom and sister , we had a lot of fun swimming for the first time, shopping and enjoying the nice weather.

Maya is still as sweet as can be. She has a pretty calm personality. She's happy hanging out in the baby bejorn while I cook or just being held. She loves to smile and to be cuddled. She doesn't say much and is pretty content in just observing us. I love her so much and will be eternally grateful Heavenly Father allowed me to be her mother. Being her mother is the best thing in the world!

Happy five months Miss Maya!!

Maya's baby blessing

Sweet little Maya got blessed on Easter Sunday, March 31st by her uncle Adam. Her blessing was such a good blessing and she was blessed with so many wonderful things. Her grandpa major carried her up and Adam did the blessing. I was so nervous that she would cry the whole time but she didn't make a peep. Uncle Brandon, Brent forester, AJ Clifford, bishop Aubrey were all apart of her blessing. We are blessed to have so many people that love and care for us that are worthy priesthood holders.
I love my little Miss Maya so much and I'm so proud and honored to be able to be her mother. My heart felt as if it was going to burst as I watched her being carried up to be blessed. I'm so lucky to have such a beautiful daughter who is getting to have the funnest personality with the biggest i smiles.
